Ellie is a Print Designer based in the UK whose work revolves around a love for colour, prints and pattern.
After studying at Leeds College of Art and graduating in 2017, Ellie’s degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design has lead her to pursue a career that fulfils her creative passion and flair for design.
Ellie’s work is painterly, expressive and bold.
Colour is at the forefront of her design process and often defines her style. The exploration of colour interactions enables her to explore and interpret many themes through drawing and painting, using a range of different techniques. Colour is an intuitive process for Ellie, and she draws inspiration from everyday surroundings to translate into designs in a new and unique way.
Using Photoshop and Illustrator, Ellie creates technical repeat Surface Pattern Designs that are ready for print and production. With experience in a range of different markets, Ellie has designed for companies and brands across Europe and the USA for; homeware/interiors, fashion, swimwear and accessories.
